♡ Keeping Up With Your Skin ♡

( Yes, I made a Keeping up with the Kardashians joke.
But hey, whether you like her or hate her, she has
nice skin. )

♡ A Basic Routine ♡
*morning & night
- Wash your face
- Tone your face
- Use any needed spot treatments/serums
- Eye cream
- Moisturize

♡ Why That's Important ♡
Obviously, dirt and grime get's all up into your pores, especially if you wear makeup. You want all that yucky stuff out, right? Because then you've got clean skin, and chances of breakouts and wrinkles and other silly things are lower. So you wash your face in the morning to get rid of any germs from your pillows and make it a clean canvas for makeup. Then again at night to get out all the gunk that got on your face from the day.
You tone your face to prep your skin to absorb whatever else you put on your skin, thus making it work better.
Spot treatments can be used directly on acne to help get rid of it, and special serums for moisture or anti-aging can be used next too.
If you're not sleeping a lot, or you've got puffy, baggy, wrinkly under eyes, that's why you use eye cream! It really helps to soothe your eyes and keep them from puffing and getting baggy.
Finally, you moisturize. It's important because harsh face washes can strip the skin of it's natural moisture, so you need to replace it to keep your skin healthy!
